The 4th MCF meeting was held on 8 November 2022 at the catchment of the Sárközi I. canal and on 9 November 2022 at the catchments of the Szilágyi and Gombás streams. The invitations and programmes for the two events are available under each event description on the main page of the website.
During the MCF meetings, the project proposals received were presented to the participants. The evaluation criteria previously sent only to the professional advisory board were also made available to all participants in the Forums. In addition to the criteria, the evaluation process was also presented, which was most relevant for the professional advisory board (the advisory members of the MCF), but also worth hearing for those who proposed project sites, for transparency and traceability.
During the field visits in the second half of November, the members of the professional advisory board were able to get acquainted with the proposed intervention sites and obtain more information about the area and the surrounding problems by filling in the project data sheets. The catchemnt coordinators and CCA referents working in the two catchemnts are trying to support the advisory board with their work, so that they can assess what they see and hear on the basis of as much known information as possible.
At the next MCF meetings, voting members will decide which project ideas they would like to support from the available budget. They will then have access to the peer review prepared by experts and can make an solid decision.
