Under the coordination of the Hétfa Research Institute, which is responsible for the conduction of the meetings, with nearly 50 attendants, dr. Petra Szatzker (Ministry of Interior of Hungary) project manager gave the first presentation on the criteria of the projects to be selected by the MCF. Following this, Klára Kerpely, a climate protection expert from WWF Hungary, spoke about natural water retention measures. This was followed by a general presentation of the project by Mayor Sándor Tordai.
The Organisational and Operational Rules governing the framework of cooperation were presented to the participants by a representative of the Hétfa Research Institute. During the more than 4-hour session, many questions were raised about the work of the Forum and the project, in particular about the tasks to be undertaken and the geographical areas covered.
The next meeting of the Multi-stakeholder Catchment Forum will be held on 31 May 2022.
